It’s been a summer full of hot days, showing #NoMercy. But let’s not forget, #Yourethebest around and you deserve a treat before the kids head back to school. There’s time for one more bit of summer fun. #Sweeptheleg up in a comfy chair and sit back to enjoy an Ice Cream Social hosted by the Arlington Heights Historical Society.

On August 15th from 7-9:30PM on the grounds of the Arlington Heights Historical Museum, we’ll be hosting an Ice Cream Social and Movie Night. We’ll be featuring the original Karate Kid starring Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita and Elizabeth Shue. Summer is coming to an end, but don’t let that stop you from coming out to enjoy a fun, Free evening of entertainment.

Berry Yo will be on hand providing chocolate and vanilla frozen yogurt for those in attendance. Not just another frozen yogurt place, Sheila, Mick and Jim, the siblings who own the shop have created a fun, family friendly environment to share their passion. Craft Floats featuring Arlington Club Soda and beer donated on behalf of Peggy Kinnane’s will also be available.

Enjoy access to the grounds, make your own Miyagi Dojo Headband and entertain yourself with historical games. The event is co-sponsored by Allstate Insurance Agency; Jim Thomson and JRS Mar/Com, a Digital Marketing Agency helping businesses #BeSeen and #BeHeard.

The Historical Society is a not-for-profit organization that strives to enrich people’s lives by connecting them to the past through inspiring programs, exhibits and stories. The Society fulfills its mission through membershipsdonations, and sponsorships.
