Arlington Heights based digital marketing agency JRS Mar/Com is excited to welcome Max Weiss to the team as a Digital Marketing Intern this summer. In this role, Weiss will apply his marketing skills to JRS Mar/Com, as well as its clients, to enhance their digital footprint.

Weiss, a resident of Northbrook, IL, currently studies Advertising at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He discovered his passion for marketing through various organizations across campus, as well as managing the social media for local dog spa, Wags on Willow in his free time. This past semester he had the opportunity to study marketing communications abroad at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.

Since 2018, he has held numerous positions in organizations across campus including but not limited to: Marketing Assistant for the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics, Strategist for the American Advertising Federation, and Recruitment Chair for the Illinois Sports Business Conference. Additionally, he is passionate about helping local businesses stand out online. This summer he hopes to gain more hands-on experience in SEO / data analytics, website design, site audits, content creation, and exploiting new revenue streams.

When not working, Weiss can be found running, biking or spending time with family and friends. He is also actively involved with Children’s Oncology Services camps for children with cancer. Weiss shares, “I’ve been following JRS Mar/Com for two years and could not be more excited to officially be part of a team of marketing gurus.”
